By far, 2014’s most popular order was for socks. From local orders to a pair sent to France, the yearning for a hand-knit pair to wear around the house was global!

One client in particular gave me the opportunity to “be creative” and this was the result!

Purple was a big hit – it was the most-requested colour by men and women!

Knitting for the little ones is always such a joy! This sweet bear is nicknamed “Baby Bear” and he was knit as gifts for my loved ones in BC and SK. The best past of these projects? Creating a custom hoodie for each bear!

I enjoyed the opportunity to craft Baby Cocoons this past year as well. This one was knit in a soft acrylic wool blend, making it machine-washable for those inevitable circumstances. Knit on larger needles, the looser stitch was perfect for providing stretch yet durability!

During one of our boating journeys, I encounter a local yarn shop offering beautiful yarn, each skein tagged with the name of the p shorn to create it! Unable to resist such an intriguing bundle of yarn, I picked up a few skeins and turned them into a cozy poncho sporting a double-lined turtleneck to prevent itchiness and increase warmth.

Hats are a basic garment that provide ample opportunity to customize a basic shape with colours, cables, lace, lattice… It’s nearly endless! Little Yellow Sheep was pleased to produce some fun, bright colour designs that popped, all double-knit for durability and warmth on the ski hill!
